iTunes U

This video shows that what is iTunes U and how educators use it for a variety of reasons.

iTunes U is a section of the iTunes Store where users can download free educational course content from any colleges and universities, non-profit educational institutions, and K-12 organizations.

The content, which includes course lectures, lab demos, sports items, and campus tours, comes as audio and video files. All downloads are free. The purpose of iTunes U is ‘Learn for free’.

However, there are 13 Australian universities used iTunes U which offer course materials, pod-casts and general university information (http://www.cnet.com.au/itunes-u-whats-on-offer-from-australian-universities-339300214.htm).
iTunes U is a future tendence. It will dramatically increase the variety and accessibility of textbooks and learning materials.
